This year has definitely been a tough and unforgettable one. It has taught us not to live in fear, showed us how to appreciate our loved ones and not to lose hope. We have remembered to sit together at the table to enjoy a meal with our family and value time. Isn’t is crazy that during a crisis people come together?
Many this year more than ever are learning how to cope with the loss of a loved one. So, we decided to make a difference and embrace a family during these troubled times and show them love beyond words. A family in desperate need of not just presents and food for their children, but hope. Something that they will always remember with the passing of time, the kind of love with evidence. Bearing gifts to fill an empty free, fill up a pantry and fridge with food and bring joy to 7 children and their grandparents.
We received an invitation with tears saying “welcome to our home and become one of us”. We came as strangers wanting to help and left as friends, people who made a difference in a child and planted a seed of hope.
Let’s be the light and the salt that our community needs!
Let’s make the difference and be people with purpose and represent Evergreen Embrace the best way we know how.
